Did you love music but were born with 2 left ears and failed music class, High school band rejected you because you cant sing and now the next best thing is advanced technology to help you become famous, secretly you air guitar at home to 80 hits and constantly add new people to your "fan page" on Facebook ?.....thinking to yourself that anyone can be a DJ , come on how hard can that be ? there is no physical music notes everything is generated electronically and all I have to do is push the button and Air DJ away !

If that sounds like you..... PLEASE GET OFF MY BLOG !

No one just decides to be a DJ , either you are born with a excellent ear for music or you go and enroll in a DJ course so that professionals can examine you and teach you how music works. its like learning how to play the guitar. Its not for everyone. Yes there is a lot of "DJ's" out there its like the new best thing since ABBA but statistics shows that 85 % of all "DJ's" wont make it and will fade away in the first 5 years , So if you just started out Hope to see you in 5 years.....

To be a DJ you have to understand how music is combined together with beats after all beats is what you have to work with to get to songs to play at the same level. I think we are lucky because we can manipulate music to suite our needs by changing beats. Its called beat matching..

Follow me through this journey where I will be explaining and showing you how the life of a DJ works and everything that's involved.

My life changes from a ordinary city girl to a whirl pool of all things combined

DJ - DISC JOKEY (The Journey Begins)

To really understand whats inside the life of a DJ and sometimes very much misunderstood we should start at the beginning understanding the term DJ and the true meaning of it.

A disc jockey, also known as DJ, is a person who selects and plays music for an audience. Originally, "disc" (sometimes spelled "disk", although this is now uncommon) referred to records,Today, the term includes all forms of music playback, no matter the medium.

There are several types of disc jockey:
